Essentials of Montessori Music and Movement

Course Overview
This training workshop offers a clear, step-by-step introduction to rhythm, movement, singing, and playful musical exploration. Inspired by the Orff-Schulwerk approach and aligned with Montessori principles of human development, the course views music not as a specialty but as a natural human capacity. Participants learn how to support the young child’s emerging coordination and social-emotional growth, as well as the older child’s expanding imagination and reasoning, making independent music-making a meaningful part of daily life.
Learning Objectives:

Explore Montessori content and concepts through multisensory experiences

Adapt childlike, playful strategies to different learning levels and learning differences

Embrace music and movement as fundamental human expressions, as natural as walking and speaking
